MIROTIC _ DBSKWow it's been a week since I last blogged. Guess I've been slacking off just a tad too much ahaha. Oh well, time to get it back on track!
Well, after a very interesting (partly emotional, partly pure fun fun fun) week, it's now the start of the hectic 3 week leadup towards the final exam..the HSC T_T Gosh, everyone's getting so serious now. STUDY STUDY STUDY is basically on everyone's mind. Should be on mine too right..? I guess I'm slacking a tad too much. Well, I did a fair amount for the last few days. But today..seriously, couldn't be bothered at all ahaha.
I got bigger fish to fry anyway eg.
medicine interview on the 2nd october, 11AM. THAT is the big fish to fry.
Basically, it's been alot of soul searching these last few days. Getting my mind straight, knowing what I want to say, what not to say. Confidence building, practice practice practice. That's the thing about interviews, you needa sell yourself but not sound arrogant. It's finding that mix of genuine interest, charisma, confidence and sincerity that attracts the attention of the interviewer. SOUNDS easy right? hah..sounds easy..in reality, alot harder. But then, some people have the knack of it. Natural talent at speaking. They don't stress, they don't feel nervous. To them, its
just an interview.. Wish I had that sorta mentality and confidence. It would seriously help..
Yesterday, spent like..5hrs at Macq Uni library? Haha was productive for the first two hours. Then just happened to bump into some friends..and everything went downhill from there. I have no idea what we did in those last 3hrs, but before I knew it, it was 5pm and we were all being shoo-d out of the library. HAHA. Lesson learnt? Study in library works. But once you add the wrong people into the mix...
EPIC FAILOkay onto more important news. DBSK's new album AHAHA. Okaay I must admit I sound a tad gay suddenly talking about their album. But seriously, its about TIME they came back to their korean fanbase and started releasing korean stuff again.

Monday
Was relatively uneventful and unproductive! ARGH! Should have done a bit of study, but...didn't do any at all. Instead, just dance-practice in the morning, recess and lunch. We need to perfect this routine..seriously. Next monday = last ever performance with this group. We HAVE to make this really good, finish off with a bang. Leave a lasting impression and a new benchmark =p
Alot more memory-book signing, leaving messages for people. Kerry took my book, and today she gave it back, and she STILL hadn't finished writing in it! Omgawsh Kerry =pp Terrible. Leave it with you the whole night and you didn't get it done! Ahaha jokes jokes. It's cool
Haha my boss called me around 8pm and was like
"Jim jim can you work tomorrow for an hour? 5-6pm??" She sounded like she was in a frenzy so I couldnt' say no haha. But it's all good either way. $20 for one hour's work. Easy money too! Let's see...convert that to other currencies:

Ohh actually, Eunice from sg called me that day. She's in Sydney for a day or two before she heads back to Melb and flies back to sg. The first thing she asked me when she called me (cause I'm basically tour-guiding her through the phone, telling her what to see, what to avoid)
Eunice: "Hey jim jim. Should I go Kings Cross?" (Kings cross = red light district...)
Me: "....HUH? Kings cross? You know what's in Kings Cross right?"
Eunice: "Uhh..it's a red light district right?"
Me: "Yeah..."
Eunice: "Ohhh...so I shouldn't go right?"
Me: "....(isn't it obvious...)...."
Later she calls me again,
Eunice: "Ohh, my family and I ended up goin to Kings Cross anyway"Me: "WHAT?! You and your family?! LOL"

TuesdayAwards day was so boring. Just sitting there in the assembly watching people get awards for a few hours =( I mean, yeah, it's really awesome that they've all gotten awards - they thoroughly deserve it, but it needed more entertainment! Ahaha ohh well, it was still good overall. =D

UNINTERESTING DAY

First thing I noticed this morning was the extreme humidity. Ohh man, felt so sweaty just getting out of bed. Even though it's only been 2 weeks into Spring, it really does feel like Summer. Yesterday itself was damn hot ~~ 31-32 degrees? Apparently the hottest day of 2008 so far..but that doesn't sound right. I swear Jan / Feb had quite a few hot days. Hmm.. =/
Guan today was rather uneventful. Just the usual maths + crapping around in class here and there. hahaha ~~
Actually, was supposed to meet up with Connie down the street, but she was busy and all. Ohh well. Ended up staying at home and reading Black Cat manga which I found on my brother's desk ^^; It's quite interesting. Very much his style - lots of action and violence LMAO. Well, what do you expect from a 14yr old haha =p
Yee-yee sms'd me today for the first time in like..ages. Haven't kept in touch with her cause of her end of semester exams. After her last exam this Friday, 3 week break, followed by another round of schooling + exams in December. Then it's off to Taiwan for a week for her. Ahaha wow so lucky la! Shoulda taken me with you. As for your exams, must jiayou okaay? x3
Was looking through my music again today, and found another really awesome younha song. Can't believe I overlooked it. It's a really nice, sweet ballad. Definitely worth the listen.

6 DAYS LEFT.EVER.
The end of my high-school life is coming closer and closer, and the prospect of university lingers in the near future. And as I look back, I realise, these last 6yrs have been one hell of a ride. I was talking with my friend about it last night, and she agrees with me. It all seems to have come so soon. Just a click ago I remember being in yr7, coming fresh out of primary to enter, what I believed, to be a place for new journeys. And now I look and realise...6 years have gone in a flash.
The last day of school, 19th September, followed by the traditional Monday final assembly, Tuesday luncheon and Wednesday beach party will probably be the last time I see alot of my peers at school. After that, it's 3 weeks of hectic study, followed by the dreaded HSC uni entrance exams.
Remember the 6th of November? That date is approaching so fast, and that glimmer of freedom is slowly, slowly coming. But now that I look at it, freedom is bitter-sweet. ='( The prospects of uni is so awesome ~ yet synonymously, the reality that I won't see alot of my friends (ESPECIALLY the juniors ~ alot of whom I'm close friends with) on a regular basis is going to be...=(
But hey, I guess that's the way it is. Maybe I'm writing this while reflecting too much on the past 6yrs, looking at photos from yr7 all the way to now. I've seen the transformation in myself, in others, in the world around us. Aye ~~
Either way, these next few weeks, I'm going to cherish as much as I can. The final chance to truly close any loose ties and take with me fond memories of high school.

UNSW MEDICINE INTERVIEW OFFER!
OMG I'm so ecstatic. Out of 3500~ people, I'm one of the 300 or so chosen to take an interview for medicine course application.
If i ACE this, then I'm pretty much guaranteed a spot in the medicine course of 2009. Seriously am SO SO happy.
So many of my friends got an offer too ~ So we're all just so super excited and happy we got past the 2nd round of this 3 round process. My goodness, I BETTER GET INTO THE COURSE
