Ohh, a woman called me up on Saturday asking whether I could tutor her son in primary 5. And it was right during tuition as well. Just concentrating during class, then suddenly
*michelle branch - breathe ringtone* starts playing. zzz..scared me cause the class was so quiet and paying attention as well. Of course before I tutor anyone, I like to see what they're capable of and see what things they need improvement in. So Sunday I dropped by the kid's house and just had a look at what he can and can't do. Whaa man, he's pretty smart, but his mum just wants to push him further (typical from asian parents right? T_T) So yeah, now I tutor him every Monday.
Thing is...when the woman asked me my price, I usually charge $25/hr. Walao man, that woman so gutsy, try to bargain with me. Thing was..aiyoo she managed to negotiate down to $20/hr.
Don't know what I was thinking..AIYO. T__T typical Shanghai people, always try bargain bargain, even if it's her son's education must try bargain...zzz..Ohh well, it's good money.
And then ANOTHER kid call me up asking for just one-off tutoring this Tuesday. I was like "eh, i charge $30/hr" and the parent was like "SURE SURE COME!". Haha YESSS XD $30/hr this Tuesday. Can't wait for the money to start coming in ~~
Actually I never thought I'd now start tutoring kids. Before I just tutor at the tutoring centre. But some of the parents have been asking the centre owner if she knows any good private tutor that can help her kid.
Of all the tutors she picked me?! O__O She said I'm one of her best tutors, and she says I'm really capable of handling kids? Whaaa man. All makes sense. No wonder I want to do paediatrics in med school. All makes sense ^__^~ Today ~
Eeeee~! Happy happy sia. The school has been planning to install mirrors into our drama room for so long, except it's never happened for a long time. FINALLY last Friday they got the people to install them in and today we could start using. WALAO ITS SO AWESOME. Me and a couple friends just stayed there whole of the morning before school, during our free periods and lunch as well. Ayeee ~ now I can dance whenever I want =) Friend choreo'd really nice routine today, so we're gna learn it sometime soon and then record it. We're thinking of using it for a future dance performance. Hmm, our group (
ENCORE), hasn't performed in so so long. I think we should perform again ^^;
