MUSIC: I-Nine _ seven days of lonely
Wow alot has happened since I last posted. Exams finished around..2wks ago, and the last 2wks have had ALOT of things happen.
LAST WEEK ~
Started gettin all my exam results back. All not too bad la. Retaining the same rank as last time which is really good. But hao happy about my extension-2 maths results. Came..4th in the class? And our maths class is the top one in the school, so hao happy about it ^__^ My rank last time was like..55/97 for extension-2..so hopefully i can AT LEAST hit top20. My aim is top-15 by August. Hopefully can hit it. All my other subjects..I guess I'll be retaining
JAP - 4th
ENG - 40th~ around
MATHS extension-1 - 30th ~
CHEM - 16th
PHYS - not too sure. need to improve on this.
Then we had a prefect event. "mini olympics". Was talkin to yee yee few days ago about prefects. Hao different from other countries. Prefects in our school aren't the bossy ones that tell everyone to behave, do uniform nicely, treat people nicely etc etc. No la, we're not the bossy type. We're more like..what yee yee called "cheerleaders" LOL! We raise school spirit, make the school more fun, so we run events and all this and that. Kind of like the student council.
So our mini-olympics [ since this year is beijing games wor ] was held over..2hrs during school time? Had different events instead of the sporting events you'd imagine. We had like..dodgeball, gladiators [ GLADIATORS HAO FUN LE. we had a gymnastics beam and long plastic poles and 2 competitors had to try and hit the other person off. but of course had all the crash mats around the beam incase they fall ]. Other games:
- equestrian. This one also v. interesting. Imagine musical chairs MINUS the chairs. Instead of chairs, you have people. So one person had to be a chair, the other person had to sit on the chair. And to make things interestin, each round had different rules. Like..you had to pair boy x girl, or boy x boy, or with people in the same grade as you, same nationality as you etc etc.
- Shotput. Instead of proper shotput, we replaced them with WATER BOMBS. So people had to throw the waterbombs at others to score points. FUN LA
- swimming. No we don't have a pool at our school. Instead we got people to wear swimming caps, goggles and FLIPPERS and they had to run around an obstacle course. Ahaha of course, with swimming flippers, they run so awkwardly and fall down alot HAHA. Aye..alot of people watched that game and cheer for their friends
Ahh day was hao fun le. Alot of people got involved, fun to see everyone just have a good time ^.^
THIS WEEK ~
Eee ~ last week of school before two week holiday. So of course everyone was excited and couldn't wait till the week was over. We had photos on monday tuesday. So everyone dressed up nicely, wear make up for their last photo. After this year, no more school photos since everyone goes to uni. Everyone commenting on each other's hair and makeup. Can see all the girls with their mirrors, all the guys busy applying gel / wax XD Haha ~~
Wednesday...Nothing lor. Was a very average day. Go school, go home, eat, sleep, do homework, audi a bit. XD
Thursday..aiyeer same.
Friday..Ahh, yesterday was so good la! Had lots of things happen. Our time as prefects finishes this term, so yesterday was the last day for all of us to pull off a BIG BIG EVENT for the school. By tradition, every year the prefects hold a big big assembly for the whole school and entertain. So basically, we pull off a show for everyone to watch =] Since we had mini-olympics last week, we had VERY LITTLE time to plan and rehearse everything. But we managed to do it! Aye, everyone pull together and we pulled a good show for them. XD Going to get the video recording of the whole assembly next term. Maybe I can put it up for all of you to see LOL
Then after that, continuing on with prefects, for a month we had been planning a big big dinner for all the prefects. Both parents and prefects invited. We booked a nearby community hall, and told everyone to bring some food. Whaa man, the food HAO NICE la. This one just to taunt DOLLY. ATE SO MUCH. YUM YUM YUM!! =ppp Haha look at the photos!
